Madge Nanney
Madge is a sixth grade comprehensive science teacher in Jacksonville, Florida. Madge wears many hats; along with being science department chair and team leader, she serves as a district teacher/leader. In this capacity, she assists science teachers across the district assisting teachers in areas of curriculum development and implementation. She is excited about the prospect of presenting the MESSENGER curriculum to teachers in northeast Florida. Teachers will definitely get “jazzed up” over this curriculum when they are able to address the standards and engage the students in inquiry based hands on labs.
